One of the original short films shown in the Ghibli Museum's video exhibition room "Saturn".
The original is the picture book "Treasure Search" by Rieko Nakagawa and Yuriko Omura. For some time now, director Hayao Miyazaki has said, "I want to make an animation of just walking and running." Each movement of the little boy Yuji and the rabbit Gick moving freely and freely is drawn very carefully.
The music was composed by Michiru, a composer and arranger. There are almost no sound effects or lines in this movie, but when you listen to the music filled with soothing and fun sounds, it seems that the scene of children playing comes to mind.
●Synopsis●
A little boy, Yuji, and a rabbit, Gick. The two of them start competing to decide who owns the stick they found at the same time. Running races, long jumps, and sumo wrestling. But the results are always the same. So I decided to ask Gick's grandma for some advice. Grandma's game is "Treasure Search". Well, what will happen to the match between the two?
